Iain never fails to amaze me. His words are feel as though they are written FOR YOU. It's a beautiful feeling having a blanket of security in a book, written by a man you don't actually know. He's a friend that's close by in heart and mind even if not in distance. I started this book last night, and I cannot put it down.

'I hope you publish your newest book soon Iain. Intentional dissonance soothed my soul through some of the hardest times of my life. These past few days I've had to watch my beautiful grandma with whom I love more than anyone in the world, die of cancer. All her very best pieces were stripped away in the process. I'm hoping your new book will remind my heart to keep beating.'

About the Author

Bruce Lee was an iconic figure in martial arts who pioneered the concept of jeet kune do from his physical training, personal research, and formal education in philosophy at the University of Washington, Seattle. He acted in several motion pictures, including The Big Boss, Enter the Dragon, Fists of Fury, and Way of the Dragon. He is the author of Tao of Jeet Kune Do. M. Uyehara is an aikido practitioner and the founder of Black Belt magazine. He served as the owner for more than 30 years and studied jeet kune do under Bruce Lee.�He lives near Honolulu, Hawaii.

Very well done!

Although I own the four individual paperbacks that comprise the majority of this single hardback edition, I am glad I spent the money on this anyway. The book is beautifully done. I can tell the editors put a lot of effort into getting the text and pictures in a useful order. The pictures are clearer as well as easier to follow and they match up nicely with the text. What I found most refreshing about this text, as opposed to many Jeet Kune Do books being released lately, is the fact that the whole BLEF vs. Inosanto feud is left out! This had to be done considering Dan Inosanto and Ted Wong appear in the book numerous times, but the fact that it isn't in the introduction by Shannon Lee is a nice touch. All-in-all, this book is well worth the money. It is more understandable and easier to follow than the more popular Tao of Jeet Kune Do and the new format is simply beautiful. Do yourself a favor and buy it.

Excellent Book!

Excellent book by Bruce Lee that shows how to defend yourself in various "street" scenarios. The examples shown are basic and straightforward, allowing the reader and practitioner the ability to easily grasp the defensive actions shown. Although some of the examples are unusual (ie - defense against a staff), they are still effective and easy to master. Very good book for anyone at any age, men and women! Other books I'd recommend based on his fighting style would be the rest of this series, as well as "The Bruce Lee Library" series by John Little. The "Tao Of Jeet Kune Do" is also an excellent book that includes his own personal notes and thoughts about his fighting art.

The product came in a good condition and in time as stated in the order confirmation. All information about the book and description of the book condition were very clear and true. For example, only a minor scratch in the cover was stated, which I could not have even seen if not looking so carefully at it. The defect is almost nothing. For me, it is a good seller.

The asm study manual was awesome!! It covers every topic on exam fm/2 in great detail and it helped me pass the fm exam on my first try!! The practice tests that are only included in this 11th edition were very helpful and definitely worth the price!

Great manual

This is a really great study manual! It explains all the principles very clearly, provides plenty of examples, and also LOTS of practice questions that very closely resemble the questions on the actual exam. With this manual as my mentor, I passed the FM exam (with flying colors) on my first attempt.

The Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) is a detailed re-writing of the regulation of capital markets. To the extent those rules permit, the Financial Services Authority (FSA) is also introducing high-level 'principles-based regulation'. In response to this, Paul Nelson presents practical guidance on the regulation of the capital markets, ranging from new issues and IPOs to investment banking, broker-dealing and asset management. All laws and rules relevant to the regulation of the capital markets are explained and put into context within the economic operation of markets, institutions and products, the European Single Market, the FSA's policies and objectives, the historical evolution of the regulations and the general civil and criminal law. Drawing on 30 years' experience as a practitioner, and referring to a vast range of supporting materials, the author provides an insightful analysis and critique of the rules, the rule makers and the institutions.
